In 1987 a group of Dominican specialists decided to open the first clinic specializing in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Dominican Republic.
In the month of February of the year 1988 the inauguration in the city of Santo Domingo, the Center for Plastic Surgery and Specialties of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, "CECIP".
This clinic immediately received a great reception from part of the population, and other plastic surgeons began to integrate, who, although they did not have their office there, took their patients to be operated on. Shortly after it became evident that the premises were too small and the rooms were no longer enough to receive the multiple patients who required plastic surgery, it was then thought of expanding the clinic. Said expansion is planned and realized, with the construction of a modern building designed for the specific functions of a plastic surgery clinic for both local and international patients.
It was so that in the month of March 1999, the Center for Plastic Surgery and Specialties of Santo Domingo "CECIP" in the Dominican Republic opens its doors in its new location where they offer all the facilities and services to their patients and where they also accounts with other specialties and support areas, to offer a comprehensive and complete service.
This clinic has become a favorite site for many patients, both local and foreign, who travel to the Dominican Republic to obtain the services offered here.
